frontpl2_photo2_caseID137The Accent range of wiring accessories launched by MK Electric last year makes extensive use of zinc pressure die casting and the highest standards in both painted and plated finishes to achieve a combination of slim-line good looks and high-quality feel. A mix and match, modular concept underpins the flexibility of the Accent range. A comprehensive range of accessory modules meets virtually every connection and control requirement. Each can be clipped singly or in a variety of combinations into different sized die cast grid plates which are screwed to a standard flush metal wall box of the appropriate size.

The slim die cast front plates are finished in three specially developed finishes – satin chrome, charcoal and champagne. All are lacquered for durability and to add a positive touch of luxury and refinement to offices, conference suites, hotels, bank reception areas, and restaurants. Whilst it is easy to see in the finished range what MK have achieved in quality terms by switching to die casting and high quality plated and painted finishes, the development effort represented by the project is not clearly visible. What has paid real dividends is MK’s conscious decision to weld together the capabilities of separate suppliers in a development process where quality hinges on the closest co-operation to achieve high quality standards.
